Dr. Terri Hanlon: Medical Director - Dr. Hanlon is one of fifteen Board Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physicians in the state of Nevada. She has over eleven years of education at universities such as Creighton University, University of Wyoming, University of Utah School of Medicine, and University of Arizona. Her professional career has taken her down many avenues. She has served as an emergency room physician, an attending physician, assistant Medical Director, Medical Director of a hospice inpatient facility, and has operated her own private internal medicine practice. Dr. Hanlon has been with Solari Hospice Care in Las Vegas for two years.
Dr. Syed Rahman: Team Physician - Dr. Rahman has been serving Solari Hospice Care patients for over three years. Originally from India, Dr. Rahman is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana, Oklahoma, and Nevada where he is currently residing. Dr. Rahman completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Family Practice in Geriatric Medicine. He is also a founding member of the North Vista Hospital Ethics Committee.
Houston Physicians
Dr. Milton Guerrero: Medical Director – Dr. Guerrero is the new Medical Director for Solari Hospice Care. He has been with Solari since March 2006 and has served as the Associate Medical Director until December 2006. Dr. Guerrero is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Board Certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He is a Certified Medical Director (CMD) through the American Medical Director’s Association (AMDA). Dr. Guerrero graduated from the University of Cartagena, School of Medicine in Colombia in 1988. He completed his Internship in Family Medicine and his Residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1994. He was also Chief Resident in Family Medicine. He completed his fellowship program in Geriatric Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, in 1996. In 1998, Dr. Guerrero became the Geriatric educator and a full time faculty member with the Memorial Southwest Family Practice Residency Program for 4 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Directors Association, American Geriatric Society, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and the Harris County Medical Society of the Texas Medical Association. His experience in long term care started in 1997 and he has enjoyed tremendously what he does. He has been working as a hospice physician since 2002.
Dr. Suklesh Dandona: Associate Medical Director – Dr. Dandona came to Solari Hospice Care in December 2006. She has been working with hospice patient for the past 12 years. Dr. Dandona completed her education at Azad Medical School in New Delhi, India and Internship at Irvin Hospital in New Delhi, India. She completed the Residency program in Pathology in Dallas, Texas. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and Atomical and Clinical Pathology. She moved to Richmond, Texas in 1990 where she started her own practice in Family Medicine. She is the Medical Director for several nursing facilities in the community. She also served on the Ethics Committee and Pharmacy and Credential at Oak Bend Hospital, and Past President of the Fort Bend County Medical Society.
Dr. Ronald Bryant: Consulting Physician - Dr. Bryant came to Solari Hospice Care in 2004. He obtained his internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He has since worked at medical centers and hospitals and now has his own private practice. He is a dedicated internist who seeks to treat each patient as an individual. Dr. Bryant volunteers his time and expertise in the Binh Duong Province of Vietnam providing free medical care and consults with Vietnamese physicians and administrators.
Dr. Anisha Waxali: Team Physician - Dr. Waxali is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She received her education at the University of Texas Medical School and the University of Houston. Dr. Waxali came to Solari Hospice Care in February 2005 and has proven to be a great asset since.
Phoenix Physicians
Dr. Talluri, Alternate Medical Director - Dr. Talluri was born in India, the second of two sons in a farmer's family, where he and his brother successfully completed their residency in the United States. In 2006, Dr. Talluri brought his healthcare experience to the patient's homes, which provides a more personalized care to the patients, unable to travel to the doctor's office. Board certified in Family Practice since 1993, Dr. Talluri's interests are arthritis, skin cancer, cancer prevention, preventive health care, and hospice.
Dr. Sid Rosenblat, Team Physician - Dr. Rosenblat graduated UC San Francisco School of Medicine in 1973 and trained at UCLA/Wadsworth VA in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Endocrinology. He started a privite practice in Newport Beach in 1978 and soon founded and operated a clinical research site. Dr. Rosenblat was president of the American Diabetes Association, Orange County Chapter in 1988 and is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
