Solari Hospice Care is guided by the Executive Team who have over 50 years of combined healthcare experience with a majority of these years in hospice.
Gary W. Polsky
President & Chief Executive Officer
Gary Polsky founded Solari Hospice Care in 2002. Previously, he founded Arizona-based Dignita Hospice Care in 1994 and grew the company to over 350 patients in three locations over a five year period before it was sold in 1999. Polsky's diverse healthcare leadership experience includes executive positions with Critical Care America, Summit Health and Humana, Inc.
Carole Goins, RN, BSN, CHPN
Vice President of Clinical Operations
Carole Goins joined Solari Hospice Care in March 2005 bringing over 15 years of progressive health care leadership experience in clinical operations and compliance. She had most recently been the regional clinical director for one of the largest hospice organizations in the country. Goins is a certified hospice and palliative nurse.
Janice M. La Fave
Controller
Janice La Fave joined Solari Hospice Care in June 2009. She has 25 years of progressive accounting and finance
experience including due diligence, acquisition, manufacturing, retail and property manangement/construction. Prior
to joining Solari Hospice Care, La Fave served as a key growth leader for a prominent Chicago based real estate
firm. Her experience also includes being a key member in acquisition teams making purchase decisions from
$2 million to $150 million.
