Solari Hospice Foundation

The vision of Solari Hospice Foundation is to enhance the philosophy of hospice by being the vehicle to:

• Provide financial and operational support for Camp Solari, bereavement camp for children and their families.
• Educate the community about end-of-life care.
• Create a positive setting for end-of-life care.
• Provide funding for supplemental services during end-of-life care.
• Assist and support agencies addressing life-limiting illnesses.

Organization

Solari Hospice Foundation in Houston, Texas, and Las Vegas, Nev., is separate from Solari Hospice Care. The Foundation oversees the disbursement of funds that are donated, bequeathed or acquired through fund-raising events for the organization. Solari Hospice Foundation has IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. Donations given to Solari Hospice Foundation are tax deductible.

What We Do

The mission of Solari Hospice Foundation is to create value for the Houston and Las Vegas communities on a long-term basis by building a strong, philanthropic organization that enhances the hospice movement. One of the main ways we do so is through Camp Solari, a bereavement camp for children and their families. The Solari Hospice Foundation will touch the lives of almost every member of our community at some point in time, making this organization one of the most important of the Houston charities and Las Vegas community charities.
