The vision of Solari Hospice Foundation is to enhance the philosophy of hospice by being the vehicle to:
1. Provide financial and operational support for Camp Solari, bereavement camp for children and their families.
2. Educate the community about end of life care.
3. Create a positive setting for end of life care.
4. Provide funding for supplemental services during end of life care.
5. Assist and support agencies addressing life limiting illnesses.
Organization
Solari Hospice Foundation is separate from Solari Hospice Care. The Foundation oversees the disbursement of funds that are donated, bequeathed, or acquired through fundraising events for the organization. Solari Hospice Foundation has IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. Donations given to Solari Hospice Foundation are tax deductible.
What We Do
The mission of Solari Hospice Foundation is to create value for the community on a long-term basis by building a strong, philanthropic organization that enhances the hospice movement. One of the main ways we do so is through Camp Solari, a Bereavement Camp for Children and Their Families.
